From a Glee Clubber…

This song is demanding but also delightful. It feels chaotic, and despite being an ostensibly English song with a recognizably "Anglo" subject matter (a corrupt, rotten priest), it feels remarkably alien. I would almost describe it as something of a roller-coaster, or perhaps more like a musical version of a theme-park ride through some medieval English funhouse. If I had to compare it to a standard, it's like a more hallucinogenic or manic Laudamus.
