o vos omnes

Pablo Casals

From a Glee Clubber…

This song really spoke to me because of how the lyrics translate. When translated, they say, “O all you who walk by on the road, pay attention and see if there be any sorrow like my sorrow. Pay attention all people and look at my sorrow: if there be any sorrow like my sorrow.” These lyrics really spoke to me because, like everyone, I have gone through my share of sorrow. I struggle with anxiety and depression. Sometimes life can be a lot, but O Vos Omnes reminded me that I am never alone in my sorrow and that we all go through things sometimes. I hope that when you hear O Vos Omnes, you remember that it takes a million little miracles to have an average day. Good days, those are a treasure, and bad days, those are to be expected.
